Applications of C/C composite materials:
The main purpose of carbon fiber is to mix together with resin, metal, ceramic and other matrix compound, to produce structural materials. Carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites, has the highest ratio of strength, modulus, compared to the other existing structural materials. C/C composite are advantageous in areas where high density, stiffness, weight, and fatigue properties are required, and where high temperatures and chemical stability are required.
